Senior Pastry Sous Chef, 5 Star Luxury Hotel, London
Salary up to £50,000 per annum
We are looking for a Senior Pastry Sous Chef to support the Executive Pastry Chef manage the day-to-day Pastry section operation.
The Hotel is part of an exclusive hotel group who pride themselves on providing classic and faultless customer service.
Things you will be doing as the Senior Pastry Sous Chef:
- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in being responsible for the management of all pastry and Bakery production to clients of the Hotel.
- To provide direction and supervision to all personnel employed in the Pastry.
- Supervise production of all menus including, daily specialities and any other functions, Room service, Bars and health club.
- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in the ordering of food purchases and stock controls, ensuring that stock levels are in line with Company requirements.
- Maintain high levels of communication between the senior Chefs and kitchen brigade at all times, in particular ensuring special messages / requests are dealt with promptly.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef at the same level.
- You are passionate about training junior staff brigade
- You have the drive and ambition to succeed
- Are great at thinking “outside the box”, being creative and strategic, and are driven by coming up with new ideas.
