Junior Maitre D’ / Host, renowned restaurant, New Opening, Knightsbridge

Salary of £30,000 per annum

We are currently looking for a Junior Maitre D’ / Host to join the opening team of a world-renowned Italian restaurant.

With restaurants located in Florence, Zurich, Monti Carlo, Moscow, and Vienna, Cantinetta Antinori is bringing the restaurant brand to London for the first time this spring. Housed in a three-storey period building in Knightsbridge, the restaurant will offer relaxed, all-day traditional Tuscan dining, fine wines, and live music.

The restaurant has a strong management team who firmly believes in looking after their staff and being as fun and rewarding as possible.

There are plans to expand other new concepts so a good work ethic will be rewarded quickly!

Things you will be doing as a Junior Maitre D’ / Host

• Deal with reservations
• Welcoming and greeting customers
• Assist the team in the successful and efficient running of the restaurant
• Oversee the guest journey from pre-arrival to post-visit, ensuring an excellent guest experience
• Building rapport with guests
• Listening to customer’s requirements and providing effective solutions
• Plan and organise floor areas according to the restaurant’s needs
• Assure that tables are assigned to customers regarding their reservations/petitions.

You will be a great fit if you:

• Have experience for more than one year in a similar restaurant role
• Having previous experience working in the position of Junior Maitre D’ / Host / Reservations / Receptionist in a quality restaurant environment
• Have knowledge of managing bookings
• Have excellent guest-relations skills
• Have an excellent telephone manner
• Are friendly, organized, and have a great personality
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Are passionate and excited to help build something amazing
• Can communicate in clearly both orally and in writing
• Have great interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction
