Head Chef, Retail Food Operation with Restaurants, London

Package up to £52,000 per annum

We are looking for a Head Chef to manage a kitchen operation within a retail restaurant operation.

Things to know:

  • Well established brand of restaurants and shops
  • You will manage part of the BOH Operations

Things you will be doing as the Head Chef:

  • Reports to the Executive Chef
  • Assist the Executive Chef for the implementation of the kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train and develop employees along with the HR Department and Exec Chef
  • Managing and mentoring the junior brigade
  • Maintaining a clean work environment with all the Health and Safety regulations
  • Undertaking regular inventory checks of food supplies
  • Ensuring dishes are of a high standard before they reach the customer.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience as a Head Chef within a high-volume restaurant.
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian Cuisine
  • Ability to travel abroad for training purposes.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Have good oral communication.
  • Team management skills
  • Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge, plus those around you
  • Are positive and have an approachable manner.
  • Have team player qualities.
