Exec Head Chef, Luxury Five Star Hotel, Singapore
Salary up to SGD 14000 per month, ($10,000 per month)
We are looking for an Exec Head Chef to help run the kitchen operation for a luxury five-star hotel in Singapore.
Things you will be doing as the Exec Head Chef:
- Reports to the Hotel Manager
- Responsible for the running and overseeing all sections in the kitchen operation
- Managing and mentoring the kitchen brigade
- Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination
- Undertaking regular inventory checks of food supplies
- Managing all restaurant outlets
- Ensuring Brand standards are maintained
- Ensuring all food operations are current and on trend
- Ensuring dishes are of a high standard before they reach the customer
- Communicating with HODS to ensure all aspects of the Food service are met and surpassed.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have experience as an Exec Head Chef within a luxury five-star property
- Have good oral communication skills
- Have team management skills
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Have a good level of numeracy
- Have a good knowledge of P&L
- Have enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge
- Are adaptable to change and have the willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
