Director of Housekeeping

Director of Housekeeping, Luxury Five Star Hotel, Singapore

Salary up to SGD 9500 per month, ($7,000 per month)

We are looking for a Director of Housekeeper operations for a luxury five-star hotel in Singapore.

Things you will be doing as the Director of Housekeeping:

• Reports to the Hotel Manager
• Responsible for the running and overseeing all Housekeeping Operations
• Managing and mentoring the team
• Responsible for all aspects of housekeeping services within the property
• Maintaining an up-to-date system, ensuring 100% customer service
• Undertaking regular checks and balances
• Reporting any major issues within the operation
• Pre- empative management to ensure the department and operation is well managed
• Ensuring all guest services are faultless
• Communicating with the team and fellow HODS to ensure all aspects of housekeeping are delivered

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have experience as an Exec Housekeeper within a luxury five-star property in Asia
• Have excellent knowledge of all areas of Housekeeping
• Preferably able to speak Mandarin
• Have good oral communication
• Have team management skills
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• Have a good level of numeracy
• Have a good knowledge of P&L
• Have enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge, plus those around you
• Are adaptable to change and have the willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
• Have the ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
• Are positive and have an approachable manner
• Have team player qualities
