Cluster Sales Manager, Collection of 3 Luxury Boutique Hotels

Salary up to £40,500 + company benefits – 15-month interim role, but likely to go permanent

We are looking for an experienced Cluster Sales Manager who will support the Sales and Meetings & Events teams across three beautiful boutique hotels located in Bath, Windsor, and Cheltenham.

Things you will be doing as a Cluster Sales Manager:

  • The primary focus will be to maximize sales opportunities for corporate and group markets, as well as MICE.
  • You will dedicate 50% of your time supporting the Hotel in Windsor with delivering their sales strategy. The remaining time will be effectively utilized in supporting and delivering the hotel sales strategy for the other two hotels
  • Establish rapport and delivering high standards of service in a genuine and approachable manner is essential
  • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/ customer share in all revenue streams
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with Corporate clients
  • Strategic management of key accounts across all segments
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotels in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
  • Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of company sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing, and monitoring appropriate local activity
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong comprehensive sales programs
  • Attend Sales events as required
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the senior management
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
  • Manage performance in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support with the training and development of the Hotel Sales teams

You will be a great fit if you:

  • Have good knowledge of the local market (ideal, but not essential), but most importantly you will be ambitious with a genuine skill for motivating, training and supporting the sales teams. You will also be an accomplished “finisher”
  • Feel comfortable in a busy environment
  • Have fantastic negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a number of projects
  • Have excellent written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
