Reception Manager

Job Description

Things to know:

  • Luxury 5-Star Hotel
  • Five days out of seven, contracted hours 40 per week
  • Managing a team of ten

Things you will be doing as a Reception Manager:

  • Reporting to the FOH Manager
  • Oversee the daily operations of the reception area
  • Manage and train reception staff, including induction, ongoing development, and performance reviews.
  • Monitor booking systems and manage allocations to maximise occupancy and revenue.
  • Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Cover reception shifts as required for staff holidays or sickness.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest service delivery.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience as Duty or Reception Manager in Luxury Hotels
  • Confident leader with excellent training and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts, including weekends and holidays, when needed.
